Team of 6

I'm really pleased that after a few weeks worth recruitment effort, we now have a complete 6-man team of talented individuals. It's never fun turning away people due to limited positions, but it did lead us to a group I'm confident will succeed.

  • 2 programmers
  • 2 artists (2D and 3D)
  • 1 dedicated writer
  • 1 designer/writer

We've been continuing on with weekly meetings and game builds, and we nailed down the art style for 2D characters. Just recently we had the 3D artist join the team, who will be responsible for space assets and (really excited about this) designing the GUI.

I've spent a bit of my time with general team management: posting meeting notes/audio and recently creating a milestone page so we can keep track of progress. There's still a lot to do for our planned March 2014 reveal, but having a good, active team is definitely a solid step in that direction.
